KHWB TEEB, STOOL

This khwb teeb belongs to Sandy’s mother-in-law who passed away in December 2020. Her mother-in-law would sit on the khwb teeb all day long as she hand sewed paj ntaub. Now Sandy keeps the chair in memories of her mother-in-law.

TOG TEEV, NIGHT STAND

Sandy Lee thrift this stool from Goodwill. At the age of 8 years old, she would walk with her mother to town and wait for her brother to be dismissed from school. She remembers witnessing Lao men crafting multiple stools at a time with their bare hands. So when she saw this stool sold at Goodwill she recognized the craftsmanship and could not resist from purchasing it. To her, the stool reminded her of home.
